MEAT by Thomas Bo Nilsson, former member of SIGNA what a 240 hour performance installation Performed at the Schaubühne Berlin as part of the FIND 2014 (Festival for International New Drama). Inspired by Canadian murderer and alleged cannibal, Luka Magnotta. Magnotta, known to have had over 70 different Facebook profiles what arrested in a Berlin internet cafe in 2012. The piece Discussed the real and hyper-real personas of everyday people and the digital media used to spread images of this self (ie) Obsessed culture. The 600sqm installation designed by Thomas Bo and Julian Eicke contained 40 different rooms: color: such as a shopping mall atrium, a nail parlor, staff apartments, a strip club, to Asian snack, a pub and at exact representation of Magnotta's Montreal apartment, as discovered by police after The Murder of a university student. The multilayered set what meticulously designed to show the lives of everyday of people with tragically sad lives. Layers of personal objects, photographs, bedding, china, wallpaper, floor and even rotting food and beer what an absolute feast for the eyes and senses. These 60 actors inhabited this installation alive for 24 hours a day for visitors to explore and interact within the Entire 10 days of the run.
