Elizabeth Rex
Properties Builder & Assistant Prosthetic Makeup Artist
Elizabeth Rex, by Timothy Findley, produced by Tableau D'Hôte Theatre, was presented at the Segal Center of Perfoming Arts in Montreal, Qc, Canada. The design was to mix wooden and metal elements to create a minimalistic and anachronistic design, contemporizing a tale set in 15th century England.
Pictured below is the a severed head I created for the production with the idea that it is the players within the story who created the non realistic, yet gruesome object to be used in their vagabond productions. Also pictured is the application of the bald cap on Leni Parker who played Elizabeth I.
Directors: Mike Payette & Liz Valdez
Designers: Eo Sharp & Naomi Poulin
Makeup Artist: Vladimir Cara
